As a Western North Carolina organization, we have been severely impacted by the remnants of Helene, including ongoing loss of power, water, and internet. All donations will go directly to continue services to the People We Support as well as support our staff during the recovery.  We would appreciate your help!

Why is PCT Essential?

PCT is more than just a routine. It’s a living, evolving philosophy that informs every interaction, decision, and action within our organization. Here’s why PCT is essential:
  1. Quality Assurance: PCT helps us maintain a consistently high standard of care. By equipping our staff with the latest knowledge and techniques, we ensure that the individuals we support receive the best possible care.
  2. Keeping Up to Date: Our commitment to excellence means that PCT is not a one-time event. We regularly update the curriculum to reflect the latest best practices and innovations in the field. Even if you’ve taken the course before, it’s a valuable refresher that keeps your skills sharp.
  3. Fostering Empowerment: PCT empowers our staff to empower others. It’s about recognizing and respecting the unique needs, preferences, and aspirations of every individual we serve. It’s about fostering independence and promoting a sense of self-worth.

Upcoming PCT Sessions:

  • September 5 & 6
  • October 9 & 10
  • November 6 & 7
  • December 7 & 8
Each session takes place in person at the Liberty Corner Enterprises main office from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days. We encourage all current staff members, regardless of previous training experience, to attend. It’s not just a requirement; it’s an opportunity to deepen your commitment to our shared mission.
